The ROP range of Label Die Cutters and Overprinters was
designed for the production of quality hot foil labels, tags, rating
plates, decals, magnetic rubber advertising etc, and for the
inexpensive embellishing and diecutting of wet ink printed labels. The
largest growing sector of users for the range are those printers
involved in producing labels for the wine and food industies. These
machines lend themselves to perform inexpensive embellishment of point
of sale labels by the application of metallic foil stamping or cold
embossing of the image, using inexpensive flat metal plates and epoxy
counters. With the addition of a hologram foil indexing unit these
machines are being used to manufacture security labels and tags at a
fraction of the cost of rotary machines. Customers are also utilising
the speed and productivity of the RC range of flat diecutters to
produce low cost short run blank labels for the thermal printer market.
The result of many years experience and research, the ROP
range has totally changed the cost structure of hot foil label
production. Our machines regularly run quality labels at double
previously acceptable running speeds. This due to the rigid design of
our printing ram and our high power heater system.
Rapid are the only manufacturer who can offer through hole punching as
a drop in attachment for any press, and with the options of hologram
indexing, re-register, slitting, wet or dry laminating, RFID insertion,
piggy back application, foam gasket lamination and in-line sheeting,
there is almost no label product which can not be converted on an RP.
The machines feature vacuum tension control, and servo motor indexing.
Options include the quick thread laminator, hologram foil indexing
unit, and consecutive numbering.
All machines are built to comply with European standards and are
guarded to AS4024.2.
