Rapid Service Bulletin. svs_001 20/1/97 RSS250 screen machines up to 20th January 1997. Problem: The stroke of the squeegee and flood blade actuators is quite long and it has been found that they use a lot of air and this also increases the cycle time of the press. Rectification: The stroke may be restricted by the use of plastic clip on sleeves. These are clipped on the two cylinder shafts between the end of the cylinder and the top plate of the squeegee or flood blade assembly. These may be removed at the end of the job so that the screen may be removed. The air supply switch must be off to fit or remove these. Benefits: The machine will cycle faster and the air consumption will be greatly reduced. The ink will also be kept under better control. This is a no charge upgrade.
