Also remove the cam follower block and lubricator block. 1:4) Undo the 38 mm AF taperlock nut ( TRANTORQUE) to be found on the inside face of the drive pulleys to release the taperlock. 1:5) Remove the inking rollers and the two inking roler pressure adjustment assemblies to allow the drum to be withdrawn towards the top right hand side of the print head when looking from the front. 1:6) The main shaft can now be gently tapped out towards the front of the machine using a drift through the access hole in the rear plate. This will allow the two drive pulleys to be removed from their belts which gives access to the 4 M6 cap screws which hold the cam assembly to the rear of the cylinder. The cylinder should be supported during this operation. Gently tap the cam assembly off the spigot and remove it. Now the cylinder can be removed out the right hand side of the unit. 2:1) Replace the rear bearing. Remove the circlip first and tap the bearing out of the end plate with a suitable drift. 2:2) Remove the front plate assembly and replace the bearing and inspect the pawl, replace it if it is worn. p2. 2:3) Trial fit the new cam assembly on the bench making sure to allign the ball spline units in the correct position using the splined shaft as a guide. When positioned correctly mark the two pieces with a scribed line which will assist in the reasembly in the machine. 3:1) Replace the cylinder in the machine. replace the new cam and allign the marks loosely. Slide the drive shaft into the cylinder being careful not to damage the lip seals or lose balls from the bushing. When the drive shaft is right through the assembly then the 4 long M6 cap screws may be inseted and the the cam assembly done up. The shaft should be a nice sliding fit in the assembly. 3:4) Replace the pulleys on the shaft with the belts. 3:5) Tap the shaft into the rear bearing. Replace the front cover plate with the pawl and manual drive unit making sure the pawl is fitted the right way up. 3:6) Replace the belt tensioners in their original radial position and the cam follower block. 3:7) Replace the roller adjustment blocks and all the rollers. 3:8) Lubricate the cam surfaces before replacing the covers. 3:9) Check the rollers for correct pressures and adjust.
